Rules of the PhotoDuels

1. Create an account and upload up to 20 photos. Then wait until your photos are verified by our moderators. Please remember that you can only upload those photos you own rights to, this means that either you made these photos (and people on those photos agreed that you upload them here) or it is you on the photo (and author of the photograph agreed that you can use it on the Internet).

2. After successful verification your photos will be added to the pool for nearest draw on PhotoDuels. Your photo will be randomly assigned for a duel with opponent's photo of the same category..

3. You will get an e-mail with information about your new duel and opponent.

4. From now-on your photo will be shown on our site in an appropriate category. It can even be shown on our Home Page (duels on our home page are chosen randomly).

5. Wait for votes! Or let your friends know about your duels and ask them for help - your opponent can do the same, so you should try to be the first and get more friends to help you!

1. Each user can vote only once for each duel.

2. The first player whose photo gets 30 votes wins the duel. For a victory player scores 1 point. Number of points is always equal to number of your victories and the greater it is the more new photos you can upload! Each 10 points (victories) allows you to upload 1 more photo.

3. An average percentage of gained votes is calculated for each photo. This average is represented by a card rank in left-upper corner of your photo, the scoring is as follows:

0%-12% is "2"
12%-22% is "3"
22%-30% is "4"
30%-37% is "5"
37%-43% is "6"
43%-48% is "7"
48%-52% is "8"
52%-57% is "9"
57%-63% is "10"
63%-70% is "J"
70%-78% is "Q"
78%-88% is "K"
88-100% is "A"

The more votes a photo gets in all it's duels, the higher it's rank will be. Becoming and ACE can be easier than staying an ACE for a long time.

4. Each player also gets a rank represented by a certain number of stars. This is calculated using number of victories and number of game played and basically shows the effectiveness of player. This is the main factor for getting to a top position of Top Players hall of fame.

1. If any of the dueling photos is deleted (either by player or by our moderators) the duels is walkover.

2. Only remaining (not deleted) photo can win such duel. It wins only if in the moment of walkover it had more votes than deleted photo and total number of it's votes in this duel was 16 or more.

3. If the photo which was deleted got more votes than the remaining one, or the better photo didn't get 16 or more votes the duel is deleted without scoring any points. It is also not considered in any statistics later-on.

1. When the duel is finished you have two days to challenge someone for a next duel! Just click the "New Challenge" button next to the photo you want to compete with. That's it - you got the new duel. If there is no button next to the photo it means that this photo is currently dueling with someone else. You have to wait for another occasion.

2. If you don't want to wait two days for next random duel just click "New Duel" button next to your photo. Your photo will be randomly assigned for another duel.

3. If you won't take any action for the next 1 day your photo will be added to the pool of photos available for next draw to the duels. You can still challenge someone but it is very likely that you photo will be randomly assigned for another duel.
